About the artist

Art is meantto be felt.

Portrait of the artist NeRa

A love of painting has been present in my life since childhood. From my earliest days I was drawn to colour, to form, and to the possibility of expressing through a painting what words so often cannot describe. My artistic talent was recognised and awarded already in childhood, which only deepened that love.

Although painting had long been part of my life through love and exploration, since 2018 I have devoted myself to it actively.

In my work I explore different forms and emotions. I am particularly inspired by the strength of women, the nude and abstraction. The female figure, to me, is a meeting of tenderness and strength, of vulnerability and self-assurance, while through abstraction I explore freedom, movement, colour and emotion.

My paintings come from the need to convey a feeling, not merely a scene. Each work carries its own atmosphere and leaves room for the viewer to find something personal in it — an emotion, a memory, or a moment that belongs to them alone.

I believe art is not meant only to be observed. It is meant to be felt, and to find its place in a person's space and life.

Art is not meant only to be observed. It is meant to be felt.
